New Collective Spaces – West Arc Thessaloniki
Work with topographies, halls, mats and infrastructure
Former factory and military sites, located in the western periphery of Thessaloniki, lay unused today. These empty areas in shape of „pockets“ allow the development of public spaces. Collective activities and open spaces can find their place between the original landscape and the historical substance. A square and a belvedere reveal the inner city, the sea and the mountains.
