The study describes a possible densification of a 1970s prefab housing estate in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The estate, that is spread on two city blocks, was examined for possible locations for new buildings as well as for potential story-additons to the existing buildings. The suggested solution for the distribution of the proposed 260 new housing units is well differentiated in regards to exterior spaces as well as to traffic infrastructure.
